Acne is a common human skin disease, characterized by areas of reddish skin, pinheads, nodules, pimples, and possibly scarring. Acne apart from little physical discomfort has psychological effects such as reduced self-esteem or depression.
In adolescence, acne is usually caused by an increase in androgens, which occurs during puberty. Acne more often affects skin with a greater number of oil glands like facial area.
- 1 teaspoon multani mitti + 1 teaspoon neem leaves + tulsi leaves+ rose water make a paste; wash after 20 minutes. Use this pack twice a week.
- Drink a glass of wheat grass juice or vegetable juice: spinach+ tomato + lime + black salt.
- Drink at least 2 glasses of lukewarm water on getting up. This helps in flushing out toxins from your system and leads to healthy skin.
- Keep your scalp clean. Dandruff aggravates acne. Do not use oil on scalp, use conditioner. Wash your hair at least twice a week. Massage lemon on your scalp once a week to clean the scalp thoroughly.
