Food that should be avoided during Gout

DON’T:

  1. Limit the intake of foods that stimulate the production of uric acid such as uric acids: fatty fish, shell fish, meat, eggs and caffeine. Leafy vegetables, mushrooms( purine containing foods)
  2. During acute attack peas, dried beans, dals, spinach,fish, chicken, smoked meats, sugar, white flour, yeast products like bread, cakes and pastries should be avoided.
  3. Avoid alcohol; it increases the production of uric acid.
  4. Avoid: leafy vegetables, mushrooms, peas, dried beans, dals, spinach, sugar, bread, cakes and pastries.
