DON’T:
- Limit the intake of foods that stimulate the production of uric acid such as uric acids: fatty fish, shell fish, meat, eggs and caffeine. Leafy vegetables, mushrooms( purine containing foods)
- During acute attack peas, dried beans, dals, spinach,fish, chicken, smoked meats, sugar, white flour, yeast products like bread, cakes and pastries should be avoided.
- Avoid alcohol; it increases the production of uric acid.
- Avoid: leafy vegetables, mushrooms, peas, dried beans, dals, spinach, sugar, bread, cakes and pastries.
