100ml vegetable oil
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
Green peas – 1cup
Spring onions- 1 cup
Chopped onions- 1 cup
Broccoli florets- 1 cup
Bell peppers- 1cup
Precooked brown rice- 2 cups
1 tsp soya sauce
Salt to taste
White pepper powder- to taste
Heat oil in a pan. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté. Add vegetables to the pan and cook for a few minutes till they turn translucent. Add steamed rice and soya sauce and mix well. Season rice with salt, pepper and sautéed vegetables.
Brown rice is rich in fiber and has low glycemic Index. Coupled with vegetables it comes rich in vitamins and minerals. It can be eaten as a main meal or a mid-morning snack.
