1 cup curd
4-5 mint leaves
1 tsp jeera powder
½ tsp black salt
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp brown sugar (optional)
Churn mint leaves, lemon juice, salt and 2 tsp water in grinder. Now add curd, black salt, jeera powder and 4-5 ice cubes and blend it together.
A refreshing cooling and low calorie drink. Adding mint leaves gives flavor and nutritional value to the lassi. Mint contains plenty of vitamins and minerals. It is especially rich in iron and calcium. Jeera seeds are good source of iron, manganese. It can be taken as mid morning drink or can be taken instead of curd with Dalia or wheat bran plans.
