benefitts-icon
Mint is a natural carminative (gas releasing) which relieves gastric discomfort, and also improves appetite. Mint contains plenty of vitamins and minerals. It is especially rich in iron and calcium. Hence good for anemic patients. As it aids in digestion, it’s a good idea to include mint chutney with proteins like soya, Rajma, Chana and other legumes which are gas forming. It can be taken for breakfast and lunch or added to plain curd for extra flavor.
