Curd: 2 cups
Salt: to taste
Ginger paste: ½ tsp
Garlic paste: ½ tsp
Black pepper: to taste
Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
Curry leaves: 6-7
Red chili powder: to taste
Coriander: 2 tsp
Whisk the curd till smooth in consistency. Mix in salt, black pepper, ginger and garlic paste. Roast rai and curry leaves together and add to the curd.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with red pepper and coriander.
Curd is a very nourishing food. It is valuable source of protein, essential vitamins and minerals. It is also rice source of calcium and riboflavin. Spices like curry leaves and Mustard seeds are natural flavoring agents which improve digestive function, secretion of digestive juices and function of small intestine and hence nutrient absorption. This curd can serve as a in between snack or with Dalia or bran Roti plans. Avoid consuming curd at night.
